Celebrating the return of <a href="https://www.lofficiel.at/en/tags/glamour" target="_blank" rel="noopener">glamour</a> and social events, the exclusive capsule captivates with 7 party pieces to wear throughout the evening. The <a href="https://www.lofficiel.at/en/tags/collection" target="_blank" rel="noopener">collection</a> includes gowns, mini dresses and a statement jumpsuit in shades of hot pink, nature green, and classic black, featuring sweetheart necklines and sheer mesh cut-outs. Effortlessly blending sensuality and sophistication, the collection is underpinned by a dedicated approach to conscious fashion. Aligned with <a href="https://www.stellamccartney.com/gb/en/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Stella McCartney&rsquo;s</a> vision and values, the capsule is crafted from responsible materials, including a forest-friendly viscose blend, as well as lead-free crystal details. Your Stella McCartney capsule collections often take inspiration from cultural moments of your past and music made by your father Paul McCartney and The Beatles. What is the story behind the exclusive capsule collection for Mytheresa and what were the main inspirations?
Stella McCartney: &bdquo;Our capsule celebrates a return to glamour. People are ready to put away their trackies and get dressed up again, I certainly know I am! We wanted to give the Mytheresa customers a wardrobe of timeless evening wear pieces that will attract attention today &ndash; and be worn well beyond tomorrow.&rdquo;

When designing a new collection, what does your design process usually look like? Do you have a specific woman in mind?
Stella McCartney: &bdquo;We always have our Stella woman in mind and at heart. She is ageless, with an effortless style and a playful sense of humour. She is mindful and wants to make more conscious choices in her life, and I truly believe this capsule speaks to her aesthetic and values &ndash; with sexy, sensual dresses crafted from forest-friendly viscose kinder to Mother Earth.&rdquo;
 What does a woman need in her wardrobe for the Holiday &rsquo;22 season?
Stella McCartney: &bdquo;Our new capsule, of course! Women need timeless and celebratory holiday dresses that they can wear not only this festive season, but for many years to come. That is true sustainability.&rdquo;
 How will you spend your Holiday season? (What to wear, to eat, to drink and the serving pieces that add to your style)
Stella McCartney: &bdquo;I love to be together with family and friends during the holidays, getting everyone around the table and eating a vegetarian feast. I know people love turkey and ham for their Christmas dinner, but I implore you all to please consider going cruelty-free this festive season &ndash; both in what you eat and what you wear. No animals need to be killed just for our holiday celebrations!&rdquo;

You grew up as vegan, with two activists as parents. Who are some of your current role models when it comes to a sustainable lifestyle?
Stella McCartney: &bdquo;I am truly inspired by the next generation; young women like Greta Thunberg and Malala Yousafzai, fighting to make a positive change for Mother Earth and their fellow humans.&rdquo;
 As a progressive luxury brand, Stella McCartney has always looked to the future. You want to completely reshape the fashion industry as we know it and move to a new circular economy. Where are we at the moment, what are the main problems of the fashion industry today?
Stella McCartney: &bdquo;A problem I have been fighting against since day one is the fashion industry&rsquo;s use of animal leathers, furs, feathers and skins. This practice not only needlessly kills hundreds of millions of innocent creatures every year, but it is terrible for our climate. Animal agriculture, where leather comes from, is responsible for 80% of the deforested areas of the Amazon. It also poisons tannery workers and local communities with carcinogenic chemicals such as chromium 6, often in poorer, less developed nations with limited healthcare resources.&rdquo;

What are the biggest, most recent achievements in the fashion industry?
Stella McCartney: &bdquo;I am so proud to be part of a conscious luxury movement that is innovating cruelty-free alternatives to animal leather such as Mylo&trade;️, which is made from mycelium &ndash; the root-like structures of fungi. We just released the world&rsquo;s first-ever commercially available bag in this vegan material, the Frayme Mylo&trade;️, with much more the come soon. Watch this space!&rdquo;
 What fabrics did you choose for the exclusive party capsule and why? What new materials do you find particularly promising at the moment?
Stella McCartney: &bdquo;The capsule is made mostly with our exclusive stretch cady, which is a luxurious and rich fabric crafted from forest-friendly viscose. This plant-based fibre uses wood pulp sourced from responsibly managed forests in Europe and the United States that are never endangered, ancient nor protected. To ensure this, we work with suppliers who can help us trace our fabrics back to the trees they came from.&rdquo;
 What are some of the largest challenges you face in your sustainable design processes, and how do you overcome these?
Stella McCartney: &bdquo;Convincing the industry and suppliers that they should join us in investing in more responsible materials. Consumer demand is a huge driver, so please make conscious choices and buy fewer, better pieces from nature-positive brands!&rdquo;

Which advice would you give young designers, aiming to be more sustainable in their approaches?
Stella McCartney: &bdquo;Never stop questioning everything and do not accept the status quo. Just because something is done one way does not mean it cannot be done better. Also, be loud and be proud! The conscious fashion movement needs creators and innovators and eco-weirdos who are not afraid to stand out and stand up for what they believe in.&rdquo;
 What upcoming projects are you most excited about?
Stella McCartney: &bdquo;We have some exciting new vegan alternatives to animal products coming up that I cannot wait to share with you all. The future of fashion is cruelty-free and kinder to Mother Earth, and it cannot come soon enough. Stay hopeful, stay optimistic and stay tuned!&rdquo;
