A Spanish night not soon to be forgotten was offered by Maison Dior to present the new Cruise Collection for 2023.

<a href="https://lofficiel.at/en/tags/cruisecollection">Cruise Collections</a> have now established themselves as the highlights of the summer. The shows are magnificent spectacles embedded in the respective holiday vision of the house. And so Maria-Grazia Chiuri also presented her current vision, which - as you can see in the video - draws us to Spain, in particular to Seville.&nbsp;

Let&#39;s start with the classic accessory: the fan. This magical item was created for the show in collaboration with the atelier of Abanicos Carbonelli.&nbsp;

But this is far from the only cross-over Christian Dior made here. The liturgy of the Catholic mass, which is particularly celebrated here, also inspired Dior&#39;s chief designer, who included the craft of Orfebrer&iacute;a Ramos in her Cruise Collection 2023. Ramos is known for his special metalworking, which is mainly used for decorative, religious objects. To pay tribute to Monsieur <a href="https://Lofficiel.at/tags/dior">Dior</a>, there was the Granville Rose.&nbsp;

For this collection, Maria Grazia Chiuri chose to reinterpret two classic hat shapes emblematic of the equestrian wardrobe of the Spanish riding school. This was produced by Atelier Fern&aacute;ndez y Roche. The creations were inspired by a photograph showing Jackie Kennedy on horseback and the Duchess of Alba in riding clothes.

A reinterpretation of the Cordoba leather tradition came when Chiuri initiated a collaboration between artists Pietro Ruffo and Daniel L&oacute;pez-Obrero Carmona.&nbsp;The latter translated the Roman designer&#39;s work for the d&eacute;fil&eacute;&nbsp;onto several painted leather panels covering a chest for Andalusian saddles and riding equipment. The artisan&#39;s work was also used to decorate a number of bags in the collection.

And what better way to do this at Dior than with the resurrected <a href="https://www.lofficiel.at/en/fashion/dior-denim-saddle">Saddle Bag</a>, which has risen with cult status from its <a href="https://www.lofficiel.at/en/fashion/the-2000s-fashion-trends">2000s revival</a> in recent years, citing John Galliano&#39;s era at Dior? For this, they collaborated with Javier Menacho Guisado. Embroideries of a strictly limited Lady Dior Bag were produced with the Atelier Jes&uacute;s Rosado. Incidentally, this atelier is not known for fashion, but for its liturgical reference. The atelier produces fabrics that are used in religious ceremonies. A &quot;holy grail&quot; that Dior has virtually tapped into here.&nbsp;
