Dior opens a breathtaking boutique on the Champs-Elysées

While 30 Avenue Montaigne, the iconic address housing the maison of Christian Dior, is no longer accessible time for an exceptional metamorphosis, Dior lays its suitcases on the most beautiful avenue in the world: the Champs-Elysees.

Located at number 127, this new showcase is spread over a considerable space of three floors, where the latest collections and different worlds of the house are on display. As if nothing had changed except for its situation, a huge drape made entirely by hand was designed to reproduce the façade of 30 Avenue Montaigne. Born of a stylistic feat, this captivating twin store pays tribute to the iconic address of the house.

Inside this exceptional boutique, homage to the French couturier succeeds one another. Such an echo to Christian Dior's first address, dubbed "Colifichets" and covered with toile de Jouy by the decorator Victor Grandpierre - on the advice of artist Christian Bérard -, the walls are dressed in the same print, classic eighteenth century confection, which is found reinterpreted in all the collections of the house. The cane, another emblem of the brand - evoking the Napoleon III style chairs on which Christian Dior liked to install his guests on parade days - was reinterpreted in delicate punctuations, and in oversized version on Versailles floors reworked in polished concrete .


In the collections program? Ready-to-wear and accessories for women and men, as well as jewelery, perfumes and interior decoration celebrating the elegance of receiving, are discovered as so many enchanted stops. The shoes are also unveiled in a dedicated space of choice, real shoe paradise. And that's not all. Symbols of the passion of Christian Dior who was gallery owner and art collector, works (including Lady Dior bags revisited as sculptures) interact with a palette of soft colors punctuated with gold shards. Thus, the furniture designed by Paolo Castelli, Osanna Visconti di Modrone, Philippe Malouin, Dimore Studio and Ramy Fischler alongside original pieces from Negropontes and Nilufar galleries.

Finally, to celebrate its opening on the Champs-Elysees, the store will offer exceptional services among which a very wide choice of unprecedented personalizations in the history of Dior. Embroidery, screen printing, hot stamping or digital stamping ... Some customizations can be made instantly, in about an hour, through workshops present in the shop.
