This is an event not to be missed. For just two months, Tiffany & Co. sets up shop in Shanghai for an event exhibition, retracing the 180 years of the house, pillar of jewelery. Named "Vision & Virtuosity", the event will take visitors on a journey through the history of the house, from its beginnings 180 years ago, through the origin of its signature turquoise blue color, its influence in pop culture, its iconic engagement rings, or even its most spectacular diamonds.
The exhibition will be an opportunity to contextualize the pioneering moments of the brand or return to the many "first times of Tiffany" through unique documents, such as the arrival of the first modern engagement ring, the Tiffany® Setting. Cut into six key chapters, the event will pay homage to the iconic blue color of the house, exposing stones such as sapphires and Montana tanzanites, a purplish blue stone that Tiffany introduced to the world in 1968, but also to his impact on pop culture, cinema, television, music or literature. This chapter will be an opportunity to discover the evolution of the iconic blue box of the house, but also the construction of the symbolic flagship located on Fifth Avenue in New York. Visitors will also be able to discover the mythical Blue Book of Tiffany & Co. dating back to 1845, bringing together all the collections that have marked the house. Known for its spectacular engagement rings, the brand will also return to this part of its history, and the know-how reflecting its heritage. Finally, the exhibition will take visitors backstage at the movie Breakfast at Tiffany's with Audrey Hepburn , as well as in her collection of the most breathtaking diamonds, including a yellow diamond of over 128 carats, known as one of the most important in the world. Note: all the profits generated by the sale of the entrance tickets will be donated to the Fosun Foundation.
