Today, the Manufacture unveils a limited edition of its essential model Villeret Perpetual Calendar. Exclusively available in the brand's boutiques, this platinum timepiece with a blue dial is printed with 88 copies.

The Villeret Blancpain collection symbolizes pure classicism. It testifies to the brand's commitment to the values of traditional watchmaking, whose complicated movements are exclusive. Just like the perpetual calendar, a complex calendar that indicates the day of the week, the date, the month and the leap year without requiring any adjustment until 2100. A real mechanical memory, the perpetual calendar is part of exceptional pieces of which Blancpain masters the entire realization internally.

The new Villeret Perpetual Calendar Perpetual Calendar retakes the display of Blancpain watches equipped with this complication. The information is distributed at 3, 9 and 12 o'clock. They are completed by a moon phase at 6 o'clock, while a large central second is added to the indication of hours and minutes. The set is punctuated by the automatic movement 5954, which Blancpain took care to protect against mishandling thanks to a security system specially developed for its calendars. Another particularity of complicated Blancpain watches, the setting of functions is here a breeze. Indeed, the piece incorporates correction under horns, a patented invention that moves the hands of the calendar and the moon phase by simply pressing the finger on small "levers" located on the back of the housing. Practical, this mechanism also offers an aesthetic advantage, the middle of the box being unaltered by the side correctors that are usually found on calendar watches.
