Located in the heart of the contemporary art district, Arsenale in Venice, VRetreats serves you as your second home.

Originally built in 1272, a then monastery saw the beginning of its fascinating history in 1500 thanks to the vision of Jacopo Sansovino.

From church to monastery to a home for Venetian guests,&nbsp;the history of restorations has most recently given new light to the structure through a project curated by the Studio of Patricia Urquiola. A project that was founded on two objectives: to enhance the ancient structure and allow guests to discover the most authentic Venice while within its walls, making guests feel at home.

A concept that deeply links Ca&#39; di Dio to the very fabric of the city as Venice is reflected in the materials selected, the colour palette, and the meticulous attention to details. Each element is the work of the skilled hands of local artisans, who shape furnishings, fabrics, and decorations by combining a passion for their work with the secrets and techniques of Venetian tradition.

Located at the entrance of the Arsenale area, also known as the &quot;Contemporary Art District&quot;. This area of the island is deeply connected to the Venice Biennale, one of the most prestigious international art, culture, and entertainment exhibitions. A privileged position that gives the structure a unique view of the Island of San Giorgio Maggiore and the San Marco Basin, which can be enjoyed from this intimate and reserved place while remaining close to the heart of the city.

The boutique hotel with only 66 rooms and 10 suites spread across 3 floors giving guests the feeling of cozyness and authenticity. Given that the&nbsp;project pervaded&nbsp;every room at Ca&#39; di Dio in which the original structure was kept, but also enriched with elements bringing Venice directly within the walls of your room.

To regenerate, Ca&#39; di Dio perfectly envisioned the facilities for leisure;.

One of the internal courtyards houses one of the hotels restaurants,&nbsp;menu of which is composed of a selection of international classics and traditional Venetian preparations&nbsp;reinterpreted in with creative touch. All spaces serve&nbsp;typical Venetian flavours, seasonal ingredients, and local vegetables, some of which are grown in the hotel&rsquo;s own garden.

Apart from that, the other two internal courtyards invite guests into their intimate atmosphere, dedicated to those who want to get a breath of fresh air away from the noise of the city. Moreover, an elegant boutique offers a line of Murano glass created exclusively for Ca&#39; di Dio and its guests.
