COS returned to New York Fashion Week in grand style, debuting its highly anticipated Autumn/Winter 2024 mainline and ATELIER collections. Known for its precision in craftsmanship and innovative design, the London-based brand took over the historic Brooklyn Navy Yard, offering an immersive experience that blended high fashion with modern art.&nbsp;

<h4>A sculptural ode to elegance</h4>
The setting &mdash; a cavernous warehouse at the Navy Yard &mdash; served as an industrial canvas for <a href="https://www.cos.com/de_at/index.html">COS</a>&rsquo; vision. With guests arriving by boat, the dramatic entrance set the tone for a unique fashion event. Once inside, a labyrinth of sculptural walls guided the models as they paraded through 43 captivating looks that epitomized COS&rsquo; minimalist yet artistic aesthetic. The Autumn/Winter 2024 collection draws deeply from nature, with rich, tactile surfaces and a palette rooted in earthy tones. The collection feels grounded in the natural world, yet elevated by bursts of vibrant greens that provide a modern contrast. Traditional fabrics are reimagined with contemporary silhouettes, hardware details, and experimental layering.&nbsp;

Womenswear radiated modern femininity, with soft tailoring and fluid silhouettes as central themes. From oversized trouser suits to sheer separates and floor-length dresses, the pieces combined elegance with effortless ease. Luxe textures, such as smooth leather jackets and relaxed wool coordinates, were complemented by leather loafers, pointed kitten heels, and quilted clutch bags. 
Menswear reinvented timeless classics with a relaxed take on formalwear. Barrel-leg trousers were paired with draped silk shirts, creating a softer, more approachable aesthetic. Oversized jackets with leather accents were styled alongside duffle coats and cashmere layers, blending structure with fluidity. 
Marking a significant highlight of the show, the COS ATELIER collection made its debut. Taking cues from the grace of ballet and the fluidity of movement, the collection explored sculptural elements with softened shapes and artful draping. Luxurious fabrics added depth, from shimmering surfaces to rich, textured outerwear, all of which embodied COS&rsquo; signature sophistication. A selection of pieces from the show is available for purchase immediately, with additional items to be released throughout the season. COS ATELIER will launch in October, promising to bring a new level of refinement to the <a href="https://www.cos.com/de_at/runway/autumn-winter-2024.html">COS offering</a>.

<h4>Sustainability at the core</h4>
In keeping with its sustainability commitments, COS partnered with Bureau Betak &mdash; an agency certified in sustainable event management&mdash;to create an eco-conscious show. Every element of the event, from set design to waste management, was executed with environmental impact in mind. Materials from the show, including carpets and set components, will be donated to "Materials for the Arts", ensuring a second life for the pieces used. This season's COS collection, much like the brand itself, marries contemporary culture with timeless craftsmanship, inviting fashion lovers into a world where style and sustainability coexist in harmony.
