LVMH Prize semi-finalist and ANDAM finalist this year, Boramy Viguier designs are hyper-modern utility wear with allusions to the ancient and arcane. The Paris-based menswear label is wrapped in a language of mysticism. Garments that carry sacred imagery and esoteric symbols; wanting to cast a mystic, cultish, surrealistic vibe.
The event was held at System Preferences, an innovative platform designed to enhance and empower fashion brands with direct to consumer strategies and value creating tools founded by Alfredo Canducci. The French DJ MOYŌ, head of the Franco-Japanese label MIND RECORDS, set the ambiance with a dystopian and gloomy industrial mix.
"The clothes are defining a whole wardrobe. From coat to trousers. Very much inspired by military wear. I like the idea that it is from the closet of a modern crusader of some sort, with a strong spiritual value."
