A misshapen mushroom with the veined structure of a cabbage leaf, a genre of architecture that makes use of free, flowing forms - it's all "Blob". This is the description for the latest collection of the hat manufacturer Mühlbauer. And if anyone is successfully making hats in Austria - and especially for such a long time - it is this Viennese brand, which is the hat supplier for Brad Pitt, among others. And there's quite a bit that the Mühlbauer creatives, Klaus Mühlbauer, Nora Berger, and Madeleine Nostitz have come up with.

Giant brims, caps made of fine corduroy or sweat fabric, and hats crocheted with small, curly wool yarn. In addition, there are warm caps made of lambskin in a shearling look and - for vegans - a selection of models with woven fur made of wool called Sherpa. "Blob" is an experimental collection that will bring a smile or two to faces in the coming winter months, as it is exceedingly colorful and stands out from the usual black and gray.

Speaking of Mühlbauer: As Laura Sänger (Creative Director of La Katz) just announced on Instagram, there will soon be a sequel to her collaboration with Mühlbauer
