 In its new ARTYCAPUCINES collection, Louis Vuitton shows the possibilities of the bag shape, which once again offers itself as the perfect canvas for artists and creative minds. Fortunately, Louis Vuitton is not afraid of visual diversity, which is why the ARTYCAPUCINE is also one of the most versatile bags.
<h4>With this year's ARTYCAPUCINES collection, six more contemporary artists bring their unique visions to the Maison's timeless and feminine classic. The fourth chapter of the limited edition, artist-designed Artycapucines collection is further proof of how the iconic bag inspires boundless creativity.</h4>
 Six artists from around the world - Daniel Buren, Kennedy Yanko, Park Seo-Bo, Am&eacute;lie Bertrand, Peter Marino and Ugo Rondinone - have applied their unique visions to the iconic bag model named after Rue Neuve-des-Capucines, where LOUIS VUITTON opened its first shop in 1854.

Am&eacute;lie Bertrand realised a striking vision: changing colours and phosphorescent light were sprayed onto the bag by hand. This bag is very much in the tradition of the eye-catching, 80s sci-fi look found in the artist's work.

The most extensive artist's conversion shows Daniel Buren's double-sided trompe-1'ceil design with his trademark block and white stripes, for the first time in four colour variations.

Ugo Rondinone's playful and colourful harlequin-style bag has been studded with over 14,000 hand-sewn beads. A bag that goes perfectly with a denim look. The rainbow as a sign of luck is an omnipresent talisman.

Anyone who knows Peter Marino will immediately recognise the architectural genius who creates interiors for hotels and luxury brands around the globe. For "his" Capucines, he created a picture-perfect studded creation with an exclusive clasp. The stylish film character Morticia Addams (played by Angelica Houston) immediately comes to mind here.

In view of the other sensational ARTYCAPUCINES, this one is almost "well-behaved". But you can always be sure of your style. But as subtle as the designs often are, the realisation is masterful. Artist Park Seo-Bo signed his version with his signature Ecritures paintings, remarkably recreated in textured and embellished calfskin.

Kennedy Yanko's 3D-printed leather creation features a metallic patina applied by hand by Italian artisans.
