A brand collaboration for the history books: Meissen Porcelain x Floyd Suitcases! Created with creative freedom, the Meissen x Floyd creation merges two seemingly contradictory brand universes into a unique world. It was created by the Berlin-based creative studio Spingun Media.

The small German town of Meissen is one of the places of power of the luxury world. For over three centuries, the artisans at Meissen&rsquo;s high-class porcelain manufactory have created pottery and figurines for kings, queens and the international hautevol&eacute;e. While the porcelain minerals are sourced in the local mines, the craftsmen of Meissen have mastered their artistry of burning, sculpting, and painting over generations. In the world of porcelain, Meissen is the ultimate seal of quality.
Floyd, on the contrary, is a bold new brand that has disrupted the traditional suitcase industry with its creative and innovative approach. Inspired by the early skate and surf culture of Venice Beach, they have confidently replaced the sluggish wheels of conformist trolleys with the soft polyurethane wheels that made skateboarding big in the 1970s. Since its launch in 2019, Floyd has given modern travel culture its mojo back and turned conformist pieces of luggage into cool and colorful travel companions.

Coolness-Overload

And here it is: A Meissen Floyd. Strictly limited to 500 pieces, the customized travel cases are the perfect gift for your family, friends &ndash; and for yourself. At least as long as they last, because the demand is vast. As a tribute to Asian heritage and values, the Floyd x Meissen suitcase is adorned with the image of an infamous Ming dragon that is highly popular among Chinese and Japanese collectors.
Additionally, each suitcase comes with a precious little gift: an exclusive Floyd x Meissen porcelain mug decorated with a chubby, Putto-style baroque angel drifting through the sky with a Floyd travel case.
