Trends come and go in fashion as well as in floristry - only the rose always seems to be unchallenged at the top of both disciplines and outshines the competition in full bloom. The best example is the current autumn/winter collection of the fashion label Blumarine, which has also devoted itself entirely to the rose. It is one of the characteristic style elements of designer Anna Molinari, who finds new ways of interpreting the floral splendour every season.
The flower, which is so sophisticated in nature, is consistently adaptable from a fashion point of view and blossoms stylishly on denim or even leopard patterns. However, she comes into her own most beautifully as a solo artist; after all, the competition can't hold a candle to her anyway. An ankle-length trench coat in a floral pattern is therefore just as much a key piece as a floor-length maxi dress. We bow to the fashionable splendour!
