Chanel announces that it will stop using exotic fur

The French brand will look for other types of materials

Chanel has just announced that it will not use any more exotic skins to manufacture its parts. In an interview with "WWD", Bruno Pavlovsky, fashion president of the French brand, said that crocodile skins, lizards, snakes and rays will be replaced by other materials with less environmental impact.

The label follows in the footsteps of other international labels such as Versace, Giorgio Armani, Calvin Klein and Gucci who also abolished the use of fur in their collections.
