The new PanoInverse Limited Edition

Glashütte Original watchmakers have the art and the way to combine traditional craftsmanship and innovative ideas.
Reading time 2 minutes

This association is reflected in the varied collection of the Saxon manufacture and appears once again in the new PanoInverse - Limited Edition. This head - time and let the pendulum bridge float freely in motion on the artistically carved platinum.

With this platinum timepiece limited to 25 pieces, Glashütte Original continues the remarkable success of its line PanoInverse. This is the last year that the idea of showing the throbbing heart of the movement and the pendulum bridge side of the dial celebrated its tenth anniversary. The new limited edition now presents again the artistically engraved "butterfly bridge" with its rhythmically pulsating screw balance. This artistically refined set appears clear and seems to float when viewed.

Usually positioned at the back of the movement and only visible through the glass case, the typical shape of the three-quarter plate is also particularly highlighted in the limited edition of the PanoInverse. With fine lines and delicate ramifications, a filigree foliage stretches over the rhodium-plated surface - not only on the front side with the pendulum bridge but also on the back side of the movement. This hand engraving is not only representative of a new reference to Glashütte's tradition. By its handwriting, the engraver transforms, in the best sense of the word, each of the 25 watches into a truly unique specimen.

A unique face
However, the history of the traditional methods and elements of this exclusive timepiece is not over yet. The eccentric face is enhanced by screwed gold kittens, red rubies, blued screws and gilded engravings. The game of transparency goes even further, with white gold hour and minute hands being skeletonised.

All these finishes give the PanoInverse - Limited Edition a unique face. Hand wound 66-08 caliber, originally inverted, beats at a frequency of 4 hz and has a power reserve of 41 hours. In addition to presenting the hour, minutes and small second, the watch has a power reserve display and a second stop. The highly refined movement is inserted into a polished / satin platinum case 42 mm in diameter. A cabochon blue sapphire decorates, in addition, the crown. The blue aspect of the piece is also enhanced by the blue screws, the finely grained dial as well as the dark blue Louisiana alligator leather strap.

The new timepiece is available at Glashütte Original stores as well as at authorized dealers around the world.
