Exclusively situated on the manmade seahorse shaped island of Jumeira Bay, connected by a 300m bridge to central Dubai, the Resort is the destination of choice for visitors seeking the solitude of an island escape, the residential feeling of a private house, yet situated just minutes from the heart of the vibrant city and its cultural attractions.
As with all the Bvlgari Hotels & Resorts, the Bvlgari Resort Dubai was designed by renowned Italian architectural firm Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel. Both the interiors and exteriors have been created with the same detail and precision of a Bvlgari jewel: pairing rare, raw materials according to colour, texture and feel, and sculpting them into objects of enduring beauty. Styled with illuminated gardens and pools and resembling a traditional seaside Italian village, it blends Mediterranean landscaping with the natural surroundings of the shores of the Arabian Gulf.
The 1.4 million-square-foot property is a first-of-its-kind development for Bvlgari, both in terms of scale and magnitude. With its Mediterranean village charm, the complex features the Resort, joined by six residential buildings of 173 sea-facing apartments, 15 private mansions, a Beach Club, and Bvlgari’s first-ever Marina and Yacht Club.
The resort includes 101 hotel rooms and suites and 20 hotel villas, all exquisitely furnished with the highest quality Italian luxury furniture brands such as Maxalto, Flos, Fexform and others, in an expression of the quality of ‘Made in Italy’. All rooms and suites have expansive views over the breathtaking Dubai skyline or the Arabian Gulf, with large balconies to truly soak up the magnificent scenery.
For guests looking for ultimate space and privacy, the resort’s five categories of villa enable families and friends to create a bespoke experience. Ranging from one to three bedrooms, with options to connect villas, the properties vary from 175 sqm to 540 sqm in size, all with a personal butler service and private pool and gazebo. The 540 sqm Bvlgari Villa is one of the resort’s highlights, ideal for dignitaries or small private functions. Features include a large living area, a sunken bathtub and a private lush garden with a large outdoor swimming pool, to ensure guests are provided with every home comfort they could possibly need.
Dubai, a well-known crossroad since ancient times, has diversified both into the home of a majority expatriate population from every part of the globe and as one of the most sought- after tourist destination in the world.
This multi-cultural richness is reflected in Dubai’s aesthetic vibrancy, its impressive cityscape including the world’s tallest tower, exciting entertainments and a growing art scene, that will reach its peak in 2020 when the city will host the Expo 2020 Dubai.
Originally home to fishermen, traders and pearl divers, Jumeira’s maritime tradition was born of sun, sea and precious stones; its people beginning Dubai’s prosperous trade with these riches of the Earth. Bvlgari is proud to offer a sparkling new jewel of hospitality to local and international guests with The Bvlgari Resort Dubai - a jewel created with its very own Italian interpretation of luxury.
Renowned Italian architectural firm Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel, which has created all the Bvlgari Hotels & Resorts to date, designed The Bvlgari Resort Dubai with a purely Italian style. Crafting the property like a fine jewel, the architects chose rare, raw materials according to their colour, texture and feel, sculpting them to shine, beautify and endure – creating a peerless example of luxury hospitality.
The 1.4 million-square-foot Bvlgari Resort Dubai is a first-of-its kind development for Bvlgari, both in terms of scale and magnitude. With its Mediterranean village charm and gardens, the island property blends traditional Italian design with contemporary architecture, embellished by Middle Eastern touches in line with its Dubai location.
The island is man-made, the sleek profile of the ‘seahorse’ defining the arcs of sand and rock; an urban oasis and a highly sought-after destination.
The Bvlgari Resort Dubai is designed with the finesse of a jewel in the most perfect bay of this perfect site. The hotel building and the yacht club pavilion are the most precious gems or the clasp of a small necklace composed of glittering architectural gems located along the promenade of the marina.
The villas, located on the shoreline, offer a unique experience among the fragrant gardens of their private courtyards, the deep beachfront and spectacular skyline of the city.
Halfway in between the creation of a goldsmith and a sophisticated natural creation, the coral texture characterizes the two main buildings of the hotel.
Created on the overlay of horizontal lines, building facades are defined by the lively shadow pattern of coral-like sunscreens, shiny and light like porcelain, though not to be confused with the white marble richly veined with back and gold arabesques of the walls of the hotel podium.
A fine oak wood surface, with long and thin planks, recalls the deck of a ship and clad the interior surfaces.
RESTAURANTS AND BARS
The Bvlgari Resort Dubai offers various signature dining options, namely Il Ristorante by Niko Romito, Hōseki, Il Bar, Il Café, La Spiaggia and the Yacht Club restaurant.
IL RISTORANTE – NIKO ROMITO
Open for lunch and dinner, the 105-seat restaurant offers spectacular views over the Bvlgari Marina.
The concept, created by the Michelin-starred chef, Niko Romito, is a celebration of ‘Made In Italy’. Working from his headquarters in Italy and regularly counselling his personally-trained resident chef Giacomo Amicucci, Chef Niko Romito brings to Il Ristorante a menu that optimally expresses the culture, elegance and vitality of everything that is quintessentially Italian. Hailing from the Italian region of Abruzzo, chef Niko Romito established a true ‘canon’ of contemporary Italian cooking by designing a concept which preserves his fundamental philosophy of simplicity, synthesis and a quest for the quintessence of flavour.
Premium ingredients are sourced from Italy, locally and internationally, for a gastronomic approach based on quality and simplicity. The best extra virgin Carma oil, an award winning organic olive oil produced in Italy, a venture partnered by the Bvlgari family, is the only one used by the chef.
On this theme of simplicity and Italian authenticity, bread is always the protagonist at the centre of the table, a key element of Romito’s philosophy and the mainstay of the Italian food culture. With broths and the Antipasto all’Italiana that encapsulate a grand tour of all the regions of Italy to recodified versions of marinated beef carpaccio, Linguine with basil pesto and hazelnuts, braised chicken, tiramisù and many more, there is no doubting the roots of Romito’s inspiration.
Different menu options are available: à la carte and sharing menu, with a curated grape pairing selection, of which there are over 500 Italian and international offerings.
An exclusive private dining room is adjacent to Il Ristorante which opens up to a private terrace overlooking the marina.

BAR & LOUNGE
With its sophisticated atmoshpere, Il Bar at The Bvlgari Resort Dubai was conceived as a gathering place for Dubai’s elite.
Sharing space with Il Ristorante while featuring a Marina view, the iconic oval Bvlgari bar is rumoured to have been inspired by the famous Fontana Della Barcaccia, just a stone’s throw away from Bvlgari’s Roman boutique. It has become emblematic of the Bvlgari hospitality collection, interpreted in different materials for each property.
For Dubai, its shape is formed from a shiny chrome, offering a more sociable ambiance. Guests can enjoy signature beverage designed by our skilled mixologists or experience the renowned Bvlgari’s Aperitivo Hour.

SPA AND FITNESS
Located on the ground floor of The Bvlgari Resort & Residences Dubai, the Bvlgari Spa is 1700 square metres of luxurious wellbeing. Designed by Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel, it features a variety of relaxing amenities including indoor pool, hammam and 24-hour fitness centre with a Workshop fitness studio.
With seven treatment rooms and a suite, the Bvlgari Spa uses only the highest quality products, such as La Mer and Amala, for those who prefer organic ingredients. With a range of treatments for men and women, from facials to massage, the signature treatment is the BVLGARI Royal Lulur, an unforgettable journey of blissful relaxation. This three-hour treatment is known as an exotic indulgence. A body polishing and exfoliation treatment used by royalty in the palaces of Central Java since the 17th century, the treatment is an enduring luxury. An exotic blend of indulgent therapies for couples seeking a complete retreat, this regal experience for two takes place in the luxurious spa suite. Beginning with a welcoming foot ritual, followed by a skin-exfoliating lulur scrub of rice powder and spices, it is then followed by a full- body enveloping algae mask to refine the skin. Meanwhile, a cleansing facial takes place and feet and limbs are treated to an intensive reflexology massage. Guests then step into the Rasul to cleanse and refresh, before bliss resumes with a perfectly synchronized signature four-hand body massage, rich with exotic oils and herbs to complete this decadent, stress relieving and calming experience.
Following the wet circuit from the green onyx-lined changing rooms, guests can have access to the 41 square metre hammam, inspired by traditional Turkish design. Created with Afyon marble surrounds, and an Iranian green onyx backdrop, the slab of which was cut in a book-matched style that allows a symmetrical, mirror image of its entirely singular veins, the smoothness oozes luxury.
Hand-selected in Turkey by Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel, which oversaw its
cut, the green miracle acts as a breathtaking backdrop to the hammam’s interior. The hammam is also available for private booking.
The highlight of the spa is a 25-metre indoor swimming pool with views over the ocean. In keeping with Bvlgari’s attention to detail and the connection to its fine jewellery collection, the design of the adjacent Vitality Pool is based on Caracalla baths, which was also a point of inspiration for the BVLGARI jewellery Diva collection. Lined with shimmering green and real gold mosaic tiles, expressing Bvlgari’s rich Italian heritage it is designed to cleanse and detox the skin with massaging jets of air and water, relieving tight muscles while increasing circulation. Cabanas with flowing sheer fabric line the pool, offering relaxation and a magnificent view; the perfect place to unwind after a spa treatment or swim.
RELAXATION & CHANGING AREAS
Adjacent to the treatment rooms are separate male and female changing areas featuring hammams, saunas, ice fountains and cooling showers - all connected to a relaxation room. The ice fountain, known as a boost for blood circulation and the immune system, adds magical sparkle to the relaxation area, its ice tumbling from the ceiling, resembling diamonds cascading down from above.
Bvlgari’s spacious state-of-the-art gymnasium is equipped with the latest Technogym cardiovascular and strength machines, with an additional free- weights area. With views out to the ocean, it is a bright and inspiring space to workout alone or with the resort’s in-house personal trainers who are on hand to help guests and Bvlgari Spa members prepare for sporting events, achieve specific fitness and weight loss goals, or assist with the creation of life-changing fitness routines through the Workshop programme.
Founded by Lee Mullins, heralded as one of the world’s best personal trainers, Workshop pioneers a new level of comprehensive workout based on its innovative framework assessment, looking at both the body and mind, and the most effective ways to help clients achieve their best. Clients begin with a movement and nutrition genetic analysis to determine the type, duration and frequency of exercise that works best for them. Food intolerance testing then looks at 95 foods which may be holding back their goals whether they be performance, health or weight loss based, to ensure that targets are supported. Metabolic testing then uses an exercise bike or treadmill to determine what training intensity the client needs to work at to burn the most fat possible. A functional movement screening then helps to identify limitations, imbalances and asymmetries in seven fundamental movements of the body, including planks and lunges, that are key to moving optimally and in turn, maximising performance and reducing the risk of injury. Finally, a body composition assessment determines where an individual stores stubborn fat, in turn helping to identify hormonal imbalances and other key health concerns.
